NATIONAL DAYS OF SERVICE

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. LEGACY OF SERVICE
During the month of January, our service platoons lead a collective effort by hosting service projects for veterans and their communities in cities across the country. All service projects exemplify the values Dr. King championed, honoring his legacy, and tackling the challenges our communities are facing. New and returning volunteers are choosing to leave a #LEGACYOFSERVICE with The Mission Continues.

EARTH MONTH: ROOTED IN SERVICE
Every April, we celebrate service and sustainability as part of Earth Day, National Volunteer Week, and National Volunteer Month. It is a crucial month for volunteerism, which provides our mission with many opportunities to impact our communities through veteran-led service.

UNITED IN SERVICE: HONORING 9/11
The attacks of September 11, 2001 sparked millions of Americans into service. Now, years later, the majority of those brave and patriotic Americans are veterans. Many of these veterans still have a desire to serve this country. With the help of community partners, our sponsors, and volunteers from every corner of this nation, our veterans are honoring 9/11 by continuing to serve right here at home.

VETERANS IN SERVICE: HONORING VETERANS DAY ALL NOVEMBER
We’re extending beyond Veterans Day and dedicating the whole month to honor the sacrifices our veterans have made with their time in service. Join us this November to give back to the local communities that have welcomed our veterans home.
